Where are you located?

• Staunch Technologies LLC is based in New Jersey in the United States.

Are you affiliated with [insert name of  other company called "Staunch Technologies"]?

• NO.  I’m a little miffed because I had the name first, but some other companies seem to have taken variations.  I’m not even going to put their websites here but I’m guessing you found them if you Googled for “Staunch Technologies”.  One is in India and the other is in Nigeria, and neither one has anything to do with me other than sharing the same name.

No need to get bent out of shape about it!  Why not just change the name of your business?

• At this point 100% of my business is from word of mouth, so it’s not really affecting me – I’m just cranky about the principle of the thing.

Are you officially affiliated with Amazon Web Services?

• Not at this time. This is not to imply that I am unqualified in any way, but this is a moonlighting gig for me, and therefore I have not made the investment to become part of the official partner network (APN).

My business / site is built on AWS and has some traction, and I’m not sure I’m doing this right.  How can I get some help?

• Let’s talk!  I’d be happy to have an initial discussion with you and even give our some basic advice or pointers.
• Alternately, you can reach out on the AWS forums.  They’re full of not only other customers who are willing to help, but also official AWS staff who are willing and able to help.  Just keep in mind that your questions will be on display to the world, so don’t include any information that you don’t want made public.
